ELECTRIC BIKE RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Customer:
The customer's name, personal ID number, address, phone number, and email address are collected at the time of reservation or online purchase.
Rental Item:
An electric bicycle (incl. battery, charger, and lights), with its brand, model, number, and serial number specified at the time of reservation or purchase.
Obligations of the Customer:
The customer is responsible for taking proper care of the bike and all included accessories.
The customer must ride with special caution and follow all applicable traffic rules.
The bike must be used only for its intended purpose.
The customer agrees to return the electric bike in the same condition it was in at the time of pickup.
The customer is fully liable for any damage to, loss of, or theft of the bike or its accessories, up to their full market value.
The customer may not make any modifications or repairs to the bike.
If the bike exhibits unusual sounds or malfunctions, the customer must immediately stop using it and contact the rental provider.
The bike may not be handed over to third parties without the rental provider’s consent.
The bike must be stored securely, and the provided lock must be used when the bike is left unattended.
The bike must not be used while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.
Taking the bike outside Finland is strictly prohibited.
In case of theft, the customer must immediately inform the rental provider.
In case of an accident, the customer must call the police to prepare an accident report and contact the rental provider without delay.
Obligations of the Rental Provider:
The rental provider ensures that the electric bike is in working order and safe to use.
The rental provider is responsible for regular maintenance and servicing of the bike.
The battery will be fully charged at the time of handover, and a charger is included with the bike.
Instructions for using the bike will be provided upon delivery or rental.
Other Terms:
By placing an order or purchase, the customer agrees to these rental terms and conditions.
The rental fee is paid in advance.
The customer must verify their identity at the time of booking/payment.
A GPS tracking device may be installed on the bike by the rental provider for recovery purposes in case of theft.
The customer is responsible for their own personal insurance coverage against injuries and accidents and rents the electric bike at their own risk.
The rental provider is not liable for any personal or property damage caused by the customer.
The rental provider reserves the right to charge the customer afterward for any damage caused to the electric bike.
